Job Advert: Warehouse Operative

Lattice Training is a coaching company that prides itself on the blend of sports science, community education and amazing training products and services! This past year we’ve grown significantly on our product development with the release of many new items that compliment our training service and data provisions.

As a result, we are looking for a new member of the team to assist the product element of the business! This person will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a great customer experience via online and in the warehouse. The main roles of the job will involve distribution of products as well as general warehouse management, with the possibility of expanding the role to include generating new sales leads and establishing new accounts.

Contract type – fixed term: 

September 6th 2021- January 31st 2022 with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.

Hours: 

12-15 hours per week with possibility of overtime as required.

Duties:

  • Distribution of products through our webshop via online portals

  • Picking and packing of wholesale orders

  • Tracking product inventory

  • Product assembly

  • Managing stock levels

  • Warehouse organisation

  • Processing returns

  • Managing customer expectations

Possible Additional duties:

  • Proactively identifying new sales opportunities

  • Establishing new retail accounts

Location: Chesterfield, UK

Successful applicants will carry out all duties and responsibilities in person at our distribution warehouse in Chesterfield over 2-3 days per week (exact hours and days to be agreed). Fuel expenses are not paid by the company for this attendance.

Pay: £9 per hour, starting rate.

Holiday: 28 days pro rata

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Proven track record of excellent customer experience and/or knowledge of the climbing industry.

  • All applicants must be able to communicate clearly in person and in written format.

  • All applicants must be computer literate with the ability to use Google and Microsoft applications.

  • All applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.
